As a Math Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a well-rounded curriculum that challenges students academically while fostering personal responsibility, discipline, and mutual respect. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging math instruction that aligns with national standards and supports the school's academic vision.
- Integrate Islamic values such as respect, responsibility, and integrity into daily teaching practices.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills in students.
- Design meaningful assessments, track academic progress, and provide personalized feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and behavior reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Contribute to a respectful and positive classroom culture that supports the social and emotional well-being of every student.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required).
- Valid teaching certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a K–12 setting.
- Ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- A sincere commitment to nurturing students academically and personally in a faith-based environment.

Maarif School is a Pre-K through 12th private school that operates under the auspices of the Maarif Foundation USA. With challenging curricula that meets or exceeds NJ and national standards, we teach all the core subjects in addition to Turkish, Arabic, Islamic studies, and Qur’an.
